Report the Accident to Foodmato

To report an accident:

  1. Open the Driver App

  2. Go to Help → Safety & Emergency → Report an Accident

  3. Provide:

    • Time & location

    • Description of what happened

    • Photos (if applicable)

    • Police reference number (if available)

    • Foodmato Insurance Coverage

      Foodmato may provide: Limited on-delivery liability coverage Support documentation for accident claims Coverage may vary by country. For Germany, Foodmato follows local courier insurance regulations.
    • Submit a Dispute

      Open Driver App Go to Payments → Report an Issue Attach screenshots/details Submit Foodmato reviews disputes within 48 hours.
    • Clear Cache (Android only)

      Settings → Apps → Foodmato Driver → Storage → Clear Cache
    • If the restaurant is slow

      Mark “Arrived at Pickup” Inform staff that you’re waiting for a Foodmato order Wait up to 10 minutes (standard)
    • You’re Paid When:

      Customer cancels after pickup Customer is unreachable Restaurant delays lead to cancellation (partial payout) Foodmato system errors
