When to Report a Restaurant

Report the restaurant if:

  • Food was contaminated or spoiled

  • Packaging was dirty or damaged

  • Foreign objects were found in the food

  • Staff appeared unhygienic (visible handling issues)

  • The restaurant failed to respect allergy instructions

      Open the Foodmato app Go to Orders Select the affected order Tap Report a Problem → Restaurant Issue Choose “Hygiene/Food Safety” Upload photos if possible — they help our investigation
    • Restaurant Cancellations

      If a restaurant cancels due to item unavailability or operational issues, you receive a full refund automatically.
    • If You Experienced an Allergy Reaction

      Report it immediately: Go to Orders → Report a Problem → Food Safety Issue Explain what happened Include photos or medical notes if applicable We’ll review the incident with the restaurant and our food safety team.

      Go to Orders Select the relevant order Tap Report a Problem → Safety Issue Describe what happened Attach photos or videos if available
    • How to Report the Issue

      Go to Orders → select your recent order. Tap Help → Report Missing/Incorrect Items. Select the specific item(s). Upload a photo if possible (helps faster resolution).
